City Budget

The City of Scott City receives its money mostly through property tax, sales tax, governmental revenues, franchise fees, user fees, fines, interest earnings, and other miscellaneous sources. The current mil rate is 67.967 and the assessed valuation is $19,831,741.

Through the budgeting process, the City Council established priorities for spending public funds. The 2013 Budget provides for authorized expenditures of $7,208,647.
